National Planning Commission Secretariat Infrastructure Development Division Policies and Plans 1. IT policies and bills (http://www.npc.gov.np/it/index.jsp) are formulated by the Ministry of Science and Technology (http://www.most.gov.np/). However, NPCS under the initiation of the division had also prepared a book on "Information Technology for Development, IT Policy and Strategy Papers for Nepal" and published in the year 2001 through the International Center for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD). This book mainly covers IT Policy of Nepal and the six strategy papers on the topics such as of Universal Access to Information, Information and Communication Technology Infrastructure, Human Resources Development, Software Production and Application, Electronic Commerce, and Electronic Governance. 2.
